Benjamin Mack Obituary
Benji was born April 12, 1976, in Gastonia to Robert "Rob" and Maria "Mott" Mack.
In addition to his parents, Benji is survived by his son, Benjamin Lee Mack II, his brother, Robert "Robbie" Mack II and wife, Page and their children, Andrew and Rachel Mack, his grandmother, Ethel Mack and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and girlfriend, Brandy Henderson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.
Interment will be in City Memorial Cemetery in Bessemer City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made payable to Benjamin Lee Mack II c/o Rob and Maria Mack, 356 Wagontree Court, Dallas, N.C. 28034 for an educational fund to be established.
Benji was a loving father, son, brother and friend. In return, he was well loved and will be dearly missed.

Robert, Mott & Robbie,
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Benji. I just heard about this today. I can't even imagine what you all are going thru. I do want you all to know that Joey & I are thinking & praying for you during this time.
I know its been awhile since I have seen him but thought of him often. It seems like only yesterday that we were growing up; taking swim trips and picnics together. He was always a cute & loveable person. May God continue to comfort you during this time and may you find peace in knowing that one day you will meet again; in his time.

You both have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your son. We as parents are not supposed to bury our children. I can not imagine your grief. I only met Benji once but I found him to be a humble man. Take comfort in knowing that Benji was very proud of who his parents are. He show me a great deal of respect for you both. In his own words "They are wonderful, wonderfully good people".

Mr & Mrs Mack, Our hearts are broken. We just met Benji a few weeks before the accident. My Georgie and little Benji however are school mates. Benji was such an out going person and an amazing Dad. Rob and Mott, we just found out a few minutes ago and our heart is broken. We loved Benji dearly and watching him grow up and all the fun Jeremy and Benji and all of his friends had together. He was always fun to be around whereever we were, especially camping and tubing at Brown Mountain. Benji was always fearless and was the leader of the gang at Love. Words must seem furtile at this time but we know God's love, grace and mercy will see you through and the sincerety of prayer will watch over his son and you.during this most tragic loss. Maria and Rob,
I could not believe it when I heard of Benji's death. I remember him as a bright, energetic little boy that did things in his own time and his own way. Together, we all made a great team to help him grow and learn. I still see that first grader in his smile and that twinkle in his eye that represented his enduring spirit.
