Blair Turner Obituary
He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late Clyde and Hazel Turner and brother of the late Lana T. Brumbaugh.
He was part owner of Linwood Super Market and was also treasurer; graduate of Hunter Huss High School.
Survivors include his brothers and sister-in-law, Clyde Travis Turner and wife Nancy of Atlanta, Ga., Myron Dale Turner of Gastonia; aunts and fami-lies, Mabel Spargo, Nell Turner and Gladys Threlkeld of Gastonia, Doris Riggs of Red Oaks; nephews, Clyde Travis Turner Jr. (Addie) of Atlanta, Charles Turner, John (Kellie) Moss of Gastonia; nieces, Susan and Beth Turner; cousins, Scott (Robin) Spargo of Gastonia, Scott Threlkeld of Charlotte, Glenn (Brooksie) Threlkeld of Gastonia, Gary, Jerry, Randy, Phil Threlkeld, Rankin (Diane) Threlkeld, all of Gastonia, Bobby Threlkeld Jr., Guy (Rea) Threlkeld, Dana and Nick Payne; best mother, Lugenia Williams; special friends, Nell Tathum and family, Bill and Betty Guinn, Lamar Guinn, Sammy and Julie Gathings, Bobby and Janet Ellis, Bill and Bobbie Sparks and family.
Special thanks to 3rd Floor Nursing Staff at Gaston Memorial Hospital, also to Ann Moss of Gaston Hospice, Ms. Massey and
Judy at Meadowoods Rest Home, Angel Brooks and Ashley and Staff at Peak Resources, Bayen Medical Associates, Dr. Sido
and Staff; also the Patel family.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Gaston Memorial Park Fountain Section.
The family will receive friends at the graveside.
