Charles Gibson Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Cowart Gibson; his eight children, Delores and husband Francis Warner of Clover, S.C., Allen Ray Gibson and Lori Moore of Conway, S.C., Clinton Gibson and wife Debbie of Kings Mountain, S.C., Paul Gibson and wife Sharon of Gastonia, Dean Gibson and his wife Libby of Conway, S.C., Barbara Gibson Fredrick of Mount Holly, Bertha Gibson and James Harmon of Vale, Joe Gibson of Conway, S.C.; 33 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one surviving sister, Mattie Harris of Belmont; and special friend Robert Allen and wife Betty.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont with Pastor Richard Jones.
