Charles Helton Obituary
He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Catherine Elizabeth Hamel Helton and John Henry Helton. Lewis was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and proudly served our country. Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings Johnny Ray Helton (Shirley), Carolyn Rowland (Danny), and Larry Helton.
A graveside service to celebrate his life with Military Honors will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly prior to the service on Wednesday.
