David Wise Obituary

DALLAS -- David "Big Daddy" Carl Wise, 61, passed away peacefully Nov. 26, 2015, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

A native of Gaston County, he was born Oct. 18, 1954 to the late Carl and Betty Wise.

David was a beloved family man who loved spending time with his two daughters and five grandchildren whenever he could. David was also a lifelong Tar Heel and Packer fan.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 40 years, Kim Cannon Wise; daughter, Christy Wise Turner and husband Lee; granddaughter, Zoe Leigh; grandsons, Zach and Zeth; daughter, Jenny Wise Hill and husband EJ; granddaughters, Kaleigh and Miley.

A celebration of life service will be held 6 p.m. Nov. 29, 2015, at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church with receiving of friends taking place one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Gaston Hospice P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054.
