Derek Young Obituary
SHELBY - Derek Steven Young, 56, of Shelby, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Margaret Young; wife, Dora Young; daughter, Brittney Watson; sons, Brandon Young and Carlos Wray; granddaughters, McKinley, Bailey, and Gracey; sisters, Kim Wilson and Sharon Eskridge; brothers, Todd, Keith, Akron, and Mark Young; and host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 111 Lincoln St., Belmont, N.C. 28012.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont.
