Doris Puckett Obituary
A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Louise Parker Clarke. Doris was a graduate of Sacred Heart College and Mercy School of Radiology, retiring from Gaston Memorial Hospital as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with thirty years of service. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and loved working with flowers.
She will be missed greatly by her children and their spouses, "Billy" and Yolanda Puckett, "Kin" Robert and Stacey Puckett, "Ginger" and John Rudisill, all of Stanley, brother and sister'-in-law Phillip C. and Peggy Clarke of Woodbridge, VA, grandchildren, Will (Heather) Puckett, Ross Puckett, Cameron Puckett, Kaylan Puckett, Lee Ellen Rudisill, J. R. Rudisill, Paige Puckett, McKinley Puckett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Haskett Puckett, Sr., brothers, Dan Clarke, Jr. and David Earl Clarke, sister, Virginia Scott.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at McLean Funeral Directors, Gastonia.
A service by the graveside will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Brown officiating.

Aunt Doris was such a pleasant, fun loving person. I have great memories of our family visits. Doris had a big loving heart and she shared it will everyone close to her.
