To the Barker family, I am so sorry for your great loss. To Martha, I know how hard it is to lose your husband. I didn't know anything about your husband passing away until I read the obituaries online. Ed Barker was a good neighbor to Bill and me. We had little conversations across the road from one another from time to time. He was always so nice. To Martha and the family, I will pray for all of you. I will ask God to give you strength and to help you in your time of need. God bless. Your former neighbor, Terry Schronce

I am related to Ed but never met him. I grew up in Gastonia, one of the grandsons of Henry Bruner Barker. He was the same age of my deceased brother, Gene Davis who was also born in 1935. I am sorry I did not get to know Ed Barker. Martha and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss.

I heard about Mr. Barker when I came in to Brian Center to visit Ben. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Ben misses his friend. Ben was upset about Mr. Barker's passing. I know that Mr. Barker is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
