Not sure what to say?

To the Barker family, I am so sorry for your great loss. To Martha, I know how hard it is to lose your husband. I didn't know anything about your husband passing away until I read the obituaries online. Ed Barker was a good neighbor to Bill and me. We had little conversations across the road from one another from time to time. He was always so nice. To Martha and the family, I will pray for all of you. I will ask God to give you strength and to help you in your time of need. God bless. Your...

Our deepest sympathies are given to Martha, Chad, Jonathan and the rest of the family. We will lift you in prayers of healing and comfort in these days and the days to come. Love, The Combs Family

I am related to Ed but never met him. I grew up in Gastonia, one of the grandsons of Henry Bruner Barker. He was the same age of my deceased brother, Gene Davis who was also born in 1935. I am sorry I did not get to know Ed Barker. Martha and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss.

I heard about Mr. Barker when I came in to Brian Center to visit Ben. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Ben misses his friend. Ben was upset about Mr. Barker's passing. I know that Mr. Barker is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

So sorry to hear about Eddie. He was a good man and will be missed. Penny Williams

Rest in peace, Mr. Barker. You'll be missed.
