Esther Reep Obituary
She was born on April 29, 1936, in Gaston County to the late Roland and Elsie Walker Hastings.
Esther was a member of First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She was part-owner of Alfredo's in Hickory and formerly employed with Joel Togs in Gastonia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Franklin Murray, Jr. and Alfred Lester Reep; brother, R. S. Hastings Jr.; sisters, Lurene Patterson and Connie Holland.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Rhodes and husband Sutton; son, Rocky Murray; sister, Jackie Leech and husband Mark; grandchildren, Renee Moss, Brandy Murray, Melissa Cruz, Krista Murray; sev-eral great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Ser-vices Chapel in Bessemer City, officiated by the Rev. Dick Whitener.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Interment will be in Mouintain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
