Evelyn Moore Obituary
She was born in Robbinsville, daughter of the late Ed Thomas and Maude Taylor Rich.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with the "Releasing of the Doves."

I'll always love and miss you mama. But I know that you're no longer in pain and sad. that you're in heaven with Jesus and your true love and soul mate your husband of 50 years, our daddy..And now you get to hold and love your grandbabies and great-grandbabies that went to heaven before you.. And that they're now getting to sit on maw maw's lap and getting all the hugs and kisses that they've been waiting on..That you've gave all your grandbabies and great grandbabies here on earth.. Mama you're one of the most amazing, loving and caring woman that GOD put on this earth...You was a very loving and devoted wife..You gave birth and raised 8 wonderful children and taught us how and helped us raise 15 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren which you and daddy loved and embraced as if they were your blood grandchildren.. You was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, mother-n-law , aunt ,grandmother ,great- grandmother and friend.. No matter when, where or what time of day or night you was ALWAYS there for us... You taught us how to walk, you taught us how to talk. You taught us right from wrong, you sung us silly songs.You taught us 123's, you taught us ABC's That's our mama our beautiful mama...R I P Mama I'll always love and miss you and I'll always be yours and daddy's DOE DOE . Even though you're no longer here on earth I know that you are and always will be still here by my side just as daddy has been for the last 10 years.. And I'll still be able to talk to you in prayer and you'll send me signs that you heard and are here for me.. Love you mama

I'm sorry for your loss, your mother was the sweetest woman. I worked with her at Bali. My mother worked with 2 of her daughters at Spencer Mountain. Know that your in our prayers, God Bless.
