GASTONIA - Janet Lee Watts, 63, of 3414 Beaty Road, Gastonia passed away Feb. 26, 2010, at Regency Hospital of Greensville, S.C.

She was a native of (Haywood County) Waynesville, born July 20, 1946, to the late Rev. William M. and Emma Lucy Thomason Ashe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Pamela Michelle Watts.

Survivors include her husband of more t han 40 years, Larry Lee Watts; children, William Richard Sigmon and wife Sue Ann of Salisbury, Roy Lee Watts, Loria Ann Watts and Joe, Lisa Kay Bowen and husband Billy all of Gastonia; grandchildren, Michelle Nichols, Kevin Kimbal, Nathan Watts, Amber Watts, Amy Carver, Stacey Carver, Austin Bowen, Shelby Bowen, Corey Bowen; great-grandchildren: Kinsley and Dylynn Nichols; sisters, Grace, Brenda, Shirley, Carolyn and Billy Kay,

The funeral will be 3:30 pm, Monday, March 1 at Independent Baptist Tabernacle with the Rev. Ralph Carver officiating

The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Hope Section.

God has blessed me with a sister- in - law, a friend but more like a sister. I love Janet very much, She will always be in my heart. I'll meet her again someday, so I'm not worried. We will all cross that river in time. I'm glad Janet had the time she had with us all. I've truly been blessed by knowing her, will never forget her.

Larry, Ricky, Roy, Lori and Lisa. I love you guys and wish there was something I could do to take away your pain. Just know she's not in pain anymore and is with Grandmaw, Grandpaw and Pamela and that had to have been a GRAND reunion. You all are in our Thoughts and Prayers.
