He went on to receive his MBA from Xavier University in 1975. A lifelong public servant, Keith was dedicated to helping those in need through his work in human services. He was the director of Health and Human Services in several Ohio counties and served in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the first Reagan administration. He went on to become the Deputy Director of the Ohio Department of Human Services and then continued his career in Aiken, South Carolina and Belmont, North Carolina before retiring in 2014.

Keith was a loving husband and father and a doting grandfather. He and Betsy enjoyed 43 years of happy marriage until her death in 2014. Keith's great enthusiasm for his children and grandchildren was evident in all the time he spent traveling from North Carolina to Texas to Virginia to make sure he never missed a birthday, recital, or special event. So sorry to hear of Kieth's passing. He and Betsy raised a wonderful family.
We will miss them both. (and also Keith's many and amusing "limericks".)
