Kristin Hardin Obituary
She was born in Cleveland County on Oct. 18, 1983.
She graduated from Kings Mountain High School, Class of 2002. She was very active in the sports pro-gram in High School, excelling in volleyball, basketball, and softball. She led her volleyball team in two North Carolina State Championships and is a member of the Kings Mountain Sports Hall of Fame. Kris-tin attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and was employed with Positec Inc., Charlotte.
She was of the Baptist faith and an avid Carolina Tarheels fan. She was a wonderful, special, and loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend who always had a smile on her face. She will be re-membered as a true friend who loved everyone unconditionally. She had a beautiful spirit and a heart for helping others.
Survivors include her parents, Scott and Jada Ellis Hardin, Grover; brother, Logan Hardin and fiancé Lindsey, Charlotte; paternal grandparents, Forrest and Juanita Hardin, Grover; maternal grandparents, Donald and Lois Ellis, Grover; special friend, Amanda Wolfe, Charlotte; uncle, Scott Ellis and wife Diane and family, Chapin, S.C.; uncle, Bradley Ellis and family, Grover; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Samuel Wolfe and Jason Wolfe; special furry friends who Kristin loved very much: Bosco, Buford, and Betty.
A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain with the Rev. Scott Hardin officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday prior to the service in the Stained Glass Room of First Baptist Church other times at the home of her parents, 1016 Bethlehem Church Road, Grover, NC and her home, 2608 Fort Street, Charlotte.
Interment will be at Grover Cemetery, Grover.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 East Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC 28204 or Susan G. Komen for the cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250 Dallas, TX 75244.

Can NOT believe my sweet "little cousin" has left this earth!!! I remember when Julia told us, "Scott and Jada are having a baby", of course, we were excited! I remember when she was born, I remember the first time I got to hold her, I was 8 or 9 years old and I loved babies and she was so PRECIOUS, she looked like a tiny Angel! I remember the family reunion when she was first starting to walk with her pretty little yellow dress(I think I have a picture of her that day, she was trying to get out the door, I tried to pick her up, but she was Not having that!) she was so energetic and smiling and looking so much like her Daddy! After I got permission to take her outside(Hardin reunion at Allen Memorial) she was very happy!!! Watched her grow up and could Not believe, all of a sudden(it seemed like), she was a star athlete at KM HIGH! Scott and Jada, Logan, Socky and Juanita, and the Ellis', and all that were close to her and loved her, We pray that God will just hold you ALL in the palm of HIS Mighty Hand, today, and in the days ahead!
