Larry Foster Obituary
Larry spent his career with Western Auto/Advance Auto.
An avid golfer, he spent his final years working and playing at Gastonia Municipal Golf Course.
Survivors include brother Bradley Foster and his wife Nellie of Concord; daughters Terry Foster and Wendy McKinney of Dallas; son Shannon Foster of Liberty; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
A private viewing session was held for immediate family only.

I had the pleasure of working with Larry for many years at Western Auto. He was always so cheerful and happy. He will be truly missed. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Larry worked at Western Auto/Advance Auto Parts when I did. We go back to 1974. He was a great friend. He really treated his employees fairly when he was a manager. He will be missed. I also knew his daughter Terry for a short period of time when she worked for security at Western Auto. May God bless his family.

Larry and I knew each other by first names only. He always greeted me with a smile and had something nice to say. He made everyone feel that you had always been his friend. He was a great person and friend in my life.
I will miss him and will be praying for the family.

Larry is truly going to be missed, but never forgotten. I worked with jim for many years at Western Auto, when it seemed like a family business, the good ole days. The last time I saw him was in Ingle's a couple of years ago, he still had that same laugh. I'll never for it or HIM.
