Lauren Honeycutt Obituary
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of Melodi Scruggs Daniel; she attended North Gaston High School and Gaston College.
Survivors include her husband, Michael W. Honeycutt, Jr; daughters, Grace Breanna Scruggs and Charlotte Rose Honeycutt; Grandparents, Jerry and Dolly Scruggs of Gastonia; Father and mother-in-law, Michael W. Honeycutt, Sr; and Barbara of Concord.
A service to celebrate her life will be Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Flint Groves Baptist Church, Gastonia, conducted by the Rev. Chris Howell.
The family will receive friends from 11-11:55 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Gaston Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the daughters of Michael and Lauren Honeycutt, 4196 Medford Drive,NW, Concord, NC 28027.
Ward Funeral Service, 220 South Broad Street, Gastonia, NC is assisting the family.

I was sorry to see this. Lauren went to Hancock school in Gastonia with my sons. Her grandpaw was the crossing guard. I will keep your family in my prayers. May God be with your family.

Lauren, I can't believe you are gone. I am sorry we lost touch so long. Thats just how our friendship went. We understood each other's reclusiveness.But this past year was the longest we went without talking, and unfortunately its our last. We had so many fun times from nursing school to watching Chapelle show. You will always be in my heart and your smile will stay in my mind. I love you and miss you" sweetie".
