Mable Brandon Obituary

GASTONIA - Mable Elizabeth Turner Brandon, 91, died June 6, 2009 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
She was a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Edward Berry and Callie Devine Turner, and wife of the late Marvin Boyd Brandon.
Mrs. Brandon retired from Threads Inc. and was a member of Myrtle United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie E. Brandon and wife Julie of Gastonia; sister, Allie Kiser of Bessemer City and adopted sister, Louise Goodwin of Gastonia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Tollie and Forest Turner, and sisters, Myrtle Mauney, Lona Lutz and Jessie Best.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Myrtle United Methodist Church with the Rev. CherLue Vang officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Rehabilitation and Health Care of Gastonia, Robin Johnson Hospice House and sister-in-law Mary Lou Brandon for all their love and care of Mrs. Brandon.
Memorials may be made to Myrtle United Methodist Church, Vision Fund, 1135 Bessemer City Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.

sorry to hear about mable she will be missed by all. she was my sunday school teacher and a real good friend. we will miss her but we know she is in haven with our lord and savior
