Malachi Golden Obituary
He was born in Gaston County, son of Tiffany Danielle Cheeks and Thomas Allen Cheeks.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Cheeks; his grandmother Fayetta Greene; three uncles, Michael, Walter and Johnny Nealey; and an aunt, Rebecca Nealey.
Malachi was a loving, enjoyable four year old little boy. There was never a dull moment with him. He was very much loved by all. He never met a stranger. He truly was an angel on Earth. He will be greatly missed by all. He was the apple of his parents' eye. Malachi loved his sisters and parents so much. "Fly high baby boy, Heaven truly gained an angel."
In addition to his parents, Malachi is survived by his sisters Cee'Anna and Cree'Anna; his grandpar-ents, Charles and Jennifer Caldwell; many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
A service to celebrate the life of Malachi Golden will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the Wood-lawn Chapel of Woodlawn
Funeral Home in Mount Holly. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Bel-mont. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
