Margie Fayssoux Obituary
She was born June 26, 1926, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Early and Viola Lineberger Atkins.
Margie was a kind, gentle and humble woman. She was a caregiver to many family members through the years, and when she became weak, son Peter and caregivers; Lindsay, Linda, Mazie, and Lydia from Visiting Angels and Hospice of Gaston County took the role as caregivers.
Survivors include, sons, Paxton Fayssoux, and Peter Fayssoux both of Gastonia, grandchildren, Zak (Danielle) Fayssoux of Boston, MA, Emily Fayssoux of NY, and Leah Fayssoux of Washington, D.C., former daughter-in-law Melissa Fayssoux, a special niece Martie Seagle of Denver, N.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margie is preceded in death by her husband, John Paxton Fayssoux, brothers, Jim and Bobby Atkins, sisters, Ann A. Burch, and Phyllis A. Moore.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors, Gastonia, with Rev. David Christy and Rev. Dr. Jim Westmoreland officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28053-3984 or First United Methodist Church 190 E. Franklin Blvd. Gastonia, NC 28052.

Pete, Paxton and the entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a very lovely lady always very kind when I would visit. I know she will be missed by many.
