Mark Benton Obituary
He was born Sept. 12, 1980, in Richmond County, N.C., the son of Michael Nelson Benton Sr. and the late Sarah Scott Benton.
Left to cherish his memories are his son Nichalas Benton of Gastonia; father Michael Benton Sr.; significant other Shae Inman; brothers Michael Benton Jr. of Mint Hill and Walter Allen Benton of Lumberton; sister Melinda Benton of Gastonia; niece Sadie; nephew Haydon and a host of aunts and uncles.
A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Mike Rice will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1729 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia.
