Patsy Small Obituary
She was born in Rutherford County, daughter of the late Walter and Hattie Harris Carswell, and was preceded in death by three brothers Leonard, Ray, and Robert Carswell, a sister Christine Nantz, and two grandchildren Brian and Travis Stroupe.
Survivors include a daughter Patricia Armstrong and husband Mike of New Port Richey, Florida, a half sister June Krause, four great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held noon Saturday at Community Pentecostal Center with Pastor Eddie McGinnis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is serving the family. Condolence messages for the family may be sent to woodlawnfuneral.org.

She was a roommate with my stepmother at the Brian Center. I always called her sunshine. What a precious lady. May her light shine in heaven as bright as it did hear on earth. Condolences to her family.
