He was born in Gastonia and was the son of the late Otis and Odelle Schronce Parker.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
Inurnment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
