Rickie McCorkle Obituary
Mr. Rickie McCorkle, born May 9, 1957, in Gaston County, NC, departed this life Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, NC.
Rickie graduated from North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. s Rickie worked as a Management Analyst at the Pentagon, in Washington, D.C. and as an Insurance Adjuster for Georgia Pacific, Atlanta, Ga. Upon returning to North Carolina, he worked at Blum Industries until his health began to decline.
Rickie was preceded in death by his mother: Barbara Jean Cassell McCorkle.
Those left to cherish his memories are two daughters, Lauren Morton and Kristen D. Culpepper both of Atlanta, GA, one grandson, Elijah James Culpepper, his father, Thomas McCorkle of the home, one sister; Dianne M. Lynch (Bruce) of Stanley, NC; two brothers, Mitchell McCorkle (Janice) of Matthews, NC and Phillip McCorkle (Janelle) of Stanley, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
