Sandy Elmore Obituary

LAKE WYLIE, S.C. - Sandy Charlene Elmore, 63, of 6235 Barclay Lane, died, Aug. 23, 2008, at her home.

Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday at the residence 6235 Barclay Lane in Lake Wylie.

Ms. Elmore was born in Indianapolis, Ind., daughter of the late Ed and Opal Carnes.

She was preceded in death by her life companion, Bob Brewer.

She is survived by her children Kathy Pollard of Lake Wylie, Karen Brandenburg of Belmont, Ken Elmore of Belmont and Keith Earl Elmore of Lake Wylie; two sisters, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

M. L. Ford & Sons of 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, S.C. is serving the family of Ms. Elmore.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. Sandy was a very special lady to all that knew her. I love you all but Ken please know if there is any thing ever you need or want to talk about just call, you have the number. I know what it means to lose a parent and it is hard. I LOVE YOU ELMORE!!

Kathy, We are so sorry to hear about Sandy. To lose Bob and your mom so close together is so sad. We knew how much Sandy meant to Bob because he talked about her with such love and devotion. She was so special and will be greatly missed.
