May god forever keep your family in peace. I will miss Shalonda's powereful voice singing praises to God. Glad I was able to give encouraging words when I did and sing a song every now and then with her. She will be missed but I pray that her memory will remain in all of the hearts of those she touched everyday...

My heart and prayers are with your family. Shalonda and I were students together at Gaston College. A few years later our paths crossed again when I taught her son. What a joy it is to still see her smile in their face. She is such a wonderful mother and person who will be missed dearly.
