Even though it's been six years, I know it's still hard and still hurts. Even though we know they are in a much better place, our human nature misses them. We have to keep asking God to give us comfort. My prayers are with you all.

Yvonne and all of the family, Please know that I am thinking and praying for you all.Thurman was a great person. A lot of his ways reminded me of my own Dad. People like him are few and "far between"! I got to hear him sing one time only and that was at Midview when he and some of the other men sang a song together. That was certainly a blessing.Thurman was the type of person that made you feel comfortable to be around. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word.I'm sure each one of you are very proud of your Dad, as you have every reason and right to be! I know he will be missed more than any words could ever explain! Both my parents have died, so I know the heartache and pain you are going through. You can find comfort in knowing Thurman is with his Saviour and also his wonderful, sweet, beautiful wife! I thought the world of Amarylis, and I really miss her! If there's anything I can do, please let me know. Larry is sorry he was unable to be there for you all, but I'm sure you understand.God bless each of you....

Thurmon was one of my favorite people. I am praying for the family. I have very fond memories of my parents and Thurmon and Amarylis playing cards and when they went dancing together. I know they are all together now around the kitchen table playing rummy.
