Vickie Hogue Obituary

BLACKSBURG, S.C. - Vickie Loraine Lewis Hogue, 60, of 354 McSwain Road, passed away Jan. 20, 2010, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gastonia, Mrs. Hogue was the wife of Russell Marvin Hogue of Colexico, Calif. and the daughter of the late Buddy and Mary Lou Carroll Lewis.

Mrs. Hogue worked as a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hogue is survived by two sons, Scott Hogue of Lillington, NC and Shane Lewis of Blacksburg; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Andy and Ricky Lewis, both of Mt. Holly, NC; and three sisters, Gail Faile of Gastonia, Lana Dykes of Concord, and Ruby Kephart of Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hogue was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Baker, and a sister, Brenda Sue McCullough.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Gordon Mortuary.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Clingman Memorial Gardens with the Rev. J.W. McClain officiating.
