Virginia Tombetta Obituary

GASTONIA - Virginia Lorraine Smith Trombetta, 75, of 1750 Robinwood Road passed away Nov. 15, 2011, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Gary, Ind., born Sept. 10, 1936, to the late Francis E. and Edith LaRose. Virginia retired from Walmart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband David Trombetta; two sons, James Brady and John Joseph Zuener; and a brother, Roger Francis LaRose.

Survivors include her sons, Anthony V. Zeuner, Guy Zeuner and wife Carla, Francis Joseph Zuener and wife Brenda, Andrew David Trombetta and Fi-ancée Angie; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Fort Plains Cemetery, Fort Plains, N.Y.
