In such a short time this hero has touched so many lives and brought smiles to so many faces. Though God called him home early and we only had a short time with him here Wesley made the most of his time. We will miss that crooked smile deeply, but we celebrate that he is in Heaven running and playing without pain. We love you all!

I am saddened by your loss. My friend, James Tate, who is in my reading class, told me he went to Wesley's funeral. He had shown us the website last year and had been doing a fundraiser for him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Wesley is with the Lord now, not suffering. I'm sure Wesley was a tough little guy. I'm sure cancer was tough to fight. My great aunt recently passed away from liver cancer, so I have a little experience on this grief. Just keep going, and instead of mourning Wesley, try to rejoice in him.

Jon and Lucinda, there is nothing I can say to make you feel better right now, but I can promise that Wesley's legacy will live on and our little warrior will never be forgotten. He has inspired so many! Your pain will never go away, but think of it as a constant reminder that Wesley will never feel pain again. You will see him again some day when your job on earth is done. I will keep all of you in my prayers, especially Blake and Lucas. I praise God that you guys have an amazing family who have always been there for you and will continue to do so. Love, hugs and prayers
