Wilma Hall Obituary

GASTONIA - Wilma Jean Hall, 75, passed away May 18, 2010, at her residence.

She was born May 9, 1935, in Gastonia, daughter of the late Albert and Bessie Pearson Mews.
Wilma was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, Gastonia.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Mike Wilson.

A visitation will be held 1:30 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
Interment will be at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gastonia.

She is survived by: husband, Bob Hall of the home; sons, Tim Hall of Mount Airy, Ga., Billy Hall of Gastonia; daughters, Marie Melton of Nashville, Tenn., Jeanna Smith of Greer, S.C.; brothers, Jimmy Mews and Jerry Mews of Gastonia; sister, Barbara McCarter of Gastonia; special friend, Dot Mews; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Woods.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, 1301 Essex St., Gastonia, NC 28052 or Gaston Hospice, P. O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Arrangements are with Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia.
