Thaddeus Ware Obituary
Born February 2, 1932 in Fayetteville, WV., he was the son of the late David and Francis Ware.
Thaddeus, also known as "Thad" or "Buck", was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend; he will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Brother Thad was a faithful and dedicated charter member of Hilltop Baptist Church of Colorado Springs, CO for 39 years, and was ordained as a Deacon in 1985.
Brother Thad was a Military Veteran, with 20 years of service in the United States Army, retiring at Fort Carson Military base in Colorado Springs in 1972. After his military service, he worked for Digital Corporation for 15 years, until he retired in 1991.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Normal B. Dillingham of Oak Hill, WV.; Elmor Ware of Boomer, WV.; Dave Ware of Columbia, SC.; Eloise Burton of Detroit, MI; Lucille Campbell of St. Louis, MO., and sister-in-law Sin Won Skaggs.
Brother Thad is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Kum Sun Ware; daughter Valarie M. Ware; sister Eunice Davis of Atlanta, GA.; brother-in-law, Edward Skaggs of Colorado Springs, CO.; niece Song (Haeoh) Choe of Colorado Springs, CO.; grand-nephews Ian Choe, Eric Choe and Ethan Choe; niece, Lois Marie Campbell of St. Louis, MO.; nephew and nieces Todd (Khwanda) Davis, Scott (Demetria) Davis, Wendy (Michael) Russell, Erica (Troy) Thomas, and Shawnee Davis; adopted son William (Melinda) Groom of Fayetteville, WV.; adopted niece, Myon (Carmine) Corvasce and a host of loving relatives, friends and colleagues, along with his Hilltop Baptist Church family.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, at Hilltop Baptist Church, 6915 Palmer Park Blvd., in Colorado Springs. Pastor Dr. Allen Knight will be officiating. A Celebration of Love and Remembrance will follow the service.
Brother Thad will rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for and with Mr. Ware for many years at Dec. He was a great mentor to me and is a key reason for my success in life and business. A Godly man who was a true role model. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of his life. A truly great man. Dave Sherpa

Thad was my brother-in-Christ, a mentor, a father figure, and a man after God's own heart. While I will mourn the loss of such a precious saint, I will rejoice in the knowledge that he is with our Savior, Jesus Christ. My prayers go out to his family and those who had the opportunity to know him and fellowship with him. He shall be missed.

My dear brother, Thad Ware was a Warrior for the Lord Jesus. I only had the pleasure of knowing him for threee years. There's many memories of brother Thad, but here's a few of mine
#1 Gave his time and attention to everyone, even the smallest of the kids.
#2 He loved everyone
#3 The first to make a motion to the church to have the Lords Supper
#4 Told you he loved you
#5 Always had his cup of coffee in hand
#6 Never complained or spoke negatively
#7 Told you he was praying for you
#8 Always asked how you were doing
# 9 Always asked how my mom and dad were doing
#10 Remined me, it's the Lord that does the work

Brother Ware was the most Godly Man that, Sue and I, have ever known. We will miss him very much every time we walk into the Church.
