Adena Subocz Obituary
She was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of the late Omar and Grace (Reynolds) Traylor. Adena grew up in Pueblo, and was a graduate of South High School class of 1961. Feb. 19, 1963, she married her husband Peter Subocz. They moved to this area and raised a caring family.
Adena worked as the payroll supervisor for the Northampton Public School System until she retired. She was an avid gardener and liked to work the voting polls for the city. Adena was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her sisters Donna and Roxy.
Adena leaves her husband Peter Subocz; her sons Mathew and his wife Jill (Plogger) Subocz, Douglas and his wife Stephanie Subocz and Brian and his wife Deanna (Lyman) Subocz, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday at Noon at the American Legion. Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery will be private. Czelusniak Funeral Home is in charge.

To the Subocz Family,
Ten years have passed since Adena left us, and now both Pete and my husband, Roger, are gone. Our two sons, Jason, now 53 and Jonathan turning 50 in July, are my two strong supporters after having survived two cancers. Had Roger lived, we would be celebrating our 55th anniversary this coming August and Dena, Marilyn, Marianne and I would be laughing at the quick wit that Roger, Pete, Dave McGrath and Bob Foote would be sharing at one of our gatherings and cookouts. Life is a little quieter now, but no less filled with countless memories. We miss Dena, Pete and Roger and are grateful our other friends are still with us to keep the memories alive.
Love to all of the Subocz Family and we hold you all dear to our hearts.

Pete, Brian, Matthew and Douglas, I am so very sorry for your loss. Dena was a wonderful person who I always admired and I will never forget all the fun and laughs we had working together at Alexander's or how my Dad, who really loved her used to tease her! She was one of the best.

Dena,
It is hard to comprehend that you are gone from us so soon and so quickly. What will remain are happy memories of our sons all playing when they were younger, and so were we. We loved your quick wit, zingers, your caring loving devotion to your family and friends. We were so looking forward to upcoming gatherings and cookouts this summer. Of course, we will keep Pete and your remarkable sons and their families in our prayers and close to our hearts, as well as carrying memories of your smiles and laughter....a very special lady indeed whom we were so proud to know.
