Diane Aubrey Obituary
Easthampton, MA - Diane (Brodeur) Aubrey, 71, of Easthampton, MA, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband and compassionate caregivers.
Diane was born on September 29, 1953, in Hartford, CT, the daughter of Glorian and Mildred Brodeur. She earned her degree in accounting from Northampton Junior College and built a meaningful career that began at Kollmorgen Corporation and blossomed into her own successful bookkeeping business.
Deeply committed to her community, Diane served as a corporator for Easthampton Savings Bank, was an active member of Our Lady of the Valley Church, and contributed her time and heart to local politics.
A gifted quilter, Diane poured love into every stitch; her quilts, like her legacy, will continue to warm and comfort those she leaves behind.
On April 19, 1974, Diane married the love of her life, Gerald Aubrey. Together they shared 50 joyful years of marriage and raised their daughter, Kimberly Ovitt. Diane was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Brodeur Aubrey. Diane's memory will be forever cherished by her husband, Gerry; her daughter, Kimberly
Ovitt, and son-in-law, Scott; and her beloved grandchildren, Emerson, Kinley, and Summer. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Suzanne Vaillancourt, and husband, Phil; her sister-in-law, Barbara Freitag, and husband, Wayne; her brother-in-law, Roger Aubrey, and wife, Joan; she also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Diane's love, laughter, and unwavering kindness will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the hospice caregivers and nurse and friend, Jennifer Massa, for their unwavering care and support.
Calling hours will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 33 Adams Street, Easthampton, MA, on Saturday April 26, 2025, from 9:45 to 11:15 AM, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:15AM. Burial will follow the liturgy at Saint Brigid's Cemetery

Diane was a wonderful woman. I have very fond memories of working with her at Gazebo. She always had kind words or great motherly advice when I needed it. She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolscences to her husband and family.
