Kimberly Widelo Obituary

Kimberly "Kim" A. Widelo

N. Hatfield, MA - Kimberly "Kim" Ann Widelo, 42, of North Hatfield, MA passed very peacefully into God's loving arms with her family by her side on December 31, 2022, after a long illness.

Kim was born on January 3, 1980, in Holyoke to the late Ronald Widelo and Sandra (Drost) Widelo. She had attended Hatfield public schools where she graduated from Smith Academy in 1998. Kim had worked part-time at a private mailing business.

Hobbies always brought great joy to Kim including reading, writing, listening to music, scrapbooking, watching musicals, and watching her favorite shows that included the Golden Girls, Martha Stewart, and painter Bob Ross; enjoying the humor of four retirees in Miami, anything Martha could whip up, and painting "happy little trees." She was also a lifelong Red Sox fan and took great joy in their success over the years. A true fighter until her passing, Kim had a beautiful personality, wonderful wit, and sense of humor, and will be remembered by many for her hearty laugh.

Kim was the loving daughter of Sandra (Drost) Widelo, of North Hatfield she is also survived by her twin brother, Chad Widelo, of North Hatfield, her brother Christopher Widelo and his wife Maribeth of Wantagh, NY and their three children, a great aunt, Pauline Osley, and her aunts and uncles Cynthia and Robert Drost, Cindy and David Drost, and Sally Sepiol. Kim will be missed by her faithful cat companion, Lena, who she loved so dearly.

Besides her father, Ronald "Ron" Widelo, she is also predeceased by her grandparents, Helen and Tony Drost and Virginia and John Widelo

A springtime burial and graveside service will take place later in the year at Calvary Cemetery in Hatfield. DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME of Northampton has been entrusted with her services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim's memory can be made to the Hatfield Fire Department Ambulance Fund at 59 Main Street, Hatfield, MA 01038 or Dakin Humane Society, P.O. Box 7307, Springfield, MA 01101.
