Philip Poudrier Obituary
Greenfield, MA — Philip H. (Junie) Poudrier of Greenfield, MA left this world on 12/15/2021, after a long illness. Born in Northampton, MA 2/28/1938, he was the son of the late Myrtle (Pierce) L. Poudrier and the late Philip Poudrier.
He was also predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Larry Poudrier and by his 2nd wife, Joyce (Mason) Poudrier.
He leaves his current wife, Elizabeth Clapp of Greenfield, MA, 2 loving daughters, Jamie Poudrier and her husband Douglas Monson of East Windsor, CT and Wendy Poudrier and her fiancé Charles Asher of Westfield, MA., 2 devoted grandchildren, Shawna (Poudrier) Sullivan and her husband Brian of Southampton, MA, Danielle Poudrier and her partner James Erwin of Holyoke, MA. He also leaves 2 great grandchildren, Isabella and Jeremiah Drake both of Northampton.
Phil was an avid football player for the Northampton Blue Devils before enlisting in the US Army. After retiring with the rank of Sargent, he worked as an attendant nurse for the former Northampton State Hospital. He went on to retire from Mid-Atlantic Canners (Coca-Cola) in Northampton, MA.
Phil loved spending weekends hunting and fishing and passed these skills down to his children and grandchildren. When he wasn't outdoors, he could be found watching westerns, football, or visiting with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association. You can go to heart.org to give online or make a donation in memory or honor of a loved one.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Phil, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at JJ's Tavern at 99 Main St. Florence, MA. Behind Miss Florence Dinner from 2 PM to 6 PM.

I worked with Philip at the MACA in Hamp back in the day. He was a great person and very humorous. I loved working with him. We will deeply miss him. May the lord watch over him . Another angel is in heaven. RIP our good friend. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends.
