Rosalie Connell Obituary

NORTHAMPTON - Rosalie J Connell, 85, passed away peacefully at Overlook Nursing Home, Northampton, Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.

Rosalie was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Pittsfield.

She was a lifelong resident of Williamsburg.

Rosalie was an active member of the Williamsburg Grange and St Mary's Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church.

She worked for many years at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

She is previously deceased by her husband, Raymond F Connell; two sons, Thomas and Morris; and three sisters, Harriet Linscott, Rita Bates and Anne Gardner.

Rosalie is survived by four sons, Edward and his wife Wendy of Goshen, Gerry and his wife Gigi of Holyoke, Raymond, Jr. and Michael of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, Lisa, Billy, Jennifer, Christopher, Thomas and Mahalet; and six great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 at from Child's Funeral Home, Haydenville, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St Mary's Our Lady of the Hills, Catholic Church.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Fund or to the charity of ones choice.
