David W. Groner

1940 - 2025

David Groner, formerly of Corvallis, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Vancouver, Washington. David was born on November 19, 1940 to Jack and Jane Groner, in southern California. David married Elizabeth Ann McCarty on November 5, 1976, in Sacramento, California. Elizabeth predeceased David in May of 2022. He was also predeceased by his parents and his brother, Peter.

David spent most of his life in construction, building swimming pools in northern California, and operating Landmark Construction, a home remodeling business, in Corvallis until his retirement. He also operated a company installing "clean rooms" for computer manufacturers, in conjunction with his father, until the latter's passing.

David enjoyed photography, scuba diving, flying, skydiving, and hang gliding.

There will be no services. Donations may be made to Meals on Wheels in Corvallis, a service he very much appreciated following the passing of his wife.
