LeRoy Davis Obituary
April 1, 1950 - July 22, 2025
LeRoy went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 22nd, he was surrounded by family and friends.
LeRoy was the youngest son and the youngest child of Lauren J. Davis and Marion B. (McCafferty) Davis. LeRoy's mother passed away when he was 12 years old.
At the age of nineteen LeRoy enlisted into the United States Army. After the Army, LeRoy learned auto mechanics, body repairman and a painter, trades that served him well throughout the rest of his life. His passion in life was building hot rods, motorcycles, and restoring classic cars. He restored clocks, gas pumps, tractors, if it was old he enjoyed bringing it back to its original glory.
LeRoy's humanity was unbelievably large; he had a very large family outside of his siblings. He had many friends from all walks of life, friends he met while hot rodding, attending swap meets, garage sales or working for a living.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his mother, father and his sister, Susan and his former wife, Nicky. He is survived by siblings, Dorothy Davis of Albany, Willard Davis of Albany, Janet Vasen of Des Moines WA and many nieces and nephews. He had three marriages/ partnerships in his life and thus there are numerous children who love him and call him Dad as well as many who call him Grandpa.
LeRoy's legacy is one of love, laughter and devotion to his Lord and Savior as well as his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 13, 2025, where family and friends can gather to honor this amazing man who touched so many lives.
The celebration of life will be held at Dennis Mask's place which is located at 37207 Gilkey Road, Scio OR 97374. There will be signs on Gilkey road to direct you.
Bring your favorite stories and pictures to share. Wear your favorite hot rod shirt, bring your Hot Rod, Motorcycle or Chopper and let's celebrate Lee's life.
