Treva Milis Obituary

March 16, 1952 - May 12, 2018

Treva "Janene" Milis, 66, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Lebanon.

Born March 16, 1952, in Corvallis to Harrison and Treva Wallace, growing up, Janene loved horses and the outdoors. In her late teens, she became the lead singer of a small band.

She moved to the island of Crete in her 20s at the invite of a close friend, and there she continued her singing career. During this time, she met and married the love of her life, Bobby Milis.

Together, the couple returned to Corvallis. Bobby and Janene had one child, a daughter. A few years later the family moved to Palm Desert, California. Janene lived in Palm Desert for 35 years before returning to Oregon where she lost her battle against cancer.

Janene lived life with a smile and a glint in her eye always up for the next adventure. She enjoyed singing, music, and the occasional trip to the casino. Her spirit of fun was contagious. As she embarks on her next adventure, surrounded by family who have been waiting, she will truly be missed by those she left behind.

Janene was preceded in death by her father, Harrison A. Wallace; mother, Treva Ilene Wallace; sister, Mary Ellen Jacobson; and brother, Billy Allen.

She is survived by her daughter, Athena Martinez O'Grady; and two grandchildren, Nicolas and Noah Martinez.

A graveside service took place at 10:30 on Friday, May 18, at the Bellfountain Cemetery in Bellfountain, Oregon.
