Andrew Mueller Obituary

Andrew John Mueller Janesville, WI - Andrew John Mueller, 62, passed away Aug. 30 in Janesville where he was born and lived a great life.

Andy was a lot of things - a son and brother, a car and motorcycle enthusiast, a hard and skilled worker, a great teaser, a fisherman, a gentle caregiver, a dog lover, a devoted Badger, Brewer and Packer fan. But most of all, he was a father who adored and cherished Kevin, Max, and Ben, his three boys.

Andy didn't wear his emotions on his sleeve, in true Mueller fashion, but he was easy with a smile and was quick to offer support when and where he could. His laughter was infectious and his outlook upbeat.

Andy's last few years with us were made difficult by premature deaths of people he loved and illnesses that challenged his heart and soul. Through it all, Andy remained kind, loving, grateful, happy to spend an hour or even just a few minutes talking about nothing and everything - the weather, his dog, how much snow he got that day, who was playing at the Rock County Fair. And especially what he and his beloved Ben had done together that week, even if it was just a lunch outing or a quick hello in the kitchen.

You're free now, Andy. Take a ride on that Harley. Hug Kevin and Max. Play catch with Grandpa Mike. Go fast on that bass boat. We miss you already.

He is survived by son Benjamin Mueller of Janesville, and his mother, Christine A. (Butt) Cramer; mother Sarah Mueller of Venice, Florida; sisters Stephanie (Brian) Kelly of Fairfield, Connecticut and Martha Mueller Neff (William) of Washington, D.C.; and many, many who will keep him in their hearts.
