Janesville, WI - David Hutchinson, age 72, passed away in the comfort of his home on May 28, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1952 in Rockford, IL, the son of Donnie and Mary Ann (Schallcross) Hutchinson.
He lived in Janesville, WI, and assisted with contract work at Kandu.
David was an ardent fan of the Green Bay Packers; he never missed a chance to cheer on his beloved team. He had a passion for game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune. David's sweet tooth was well-known to those who loved him, as he never turned down a chocolate treat or a delicious dessert. His day wasn't complete without a hot cup of coffee, which he savored as one of life's daily pleasures.
David's greatest treasure in life was being a brother. His face would light up whenever his siblings were around, and he made sure every family gathering was filled with warmth and laughter. David was remarkably strong-both mentally and in spirit. He met every challenge with steadfast resolve, inspiring everyone around him with his resilience and inner fortitude.
What stood out most about David was his genuine happiness and the way he approached each day with optimism. His presence and cheerful spirit touched everyone around him, making ordinary moments extraordinary. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, reminding us all to find delight in life's simple pleasures and to cherish our family connections.
David is survived by his siblings: Debra Hutchinson, Corrine Davis, Michael (Debra) Hutchinson, Bradley Combs, Ronald Combs, and James Combs; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann; father, Harold Combs; brother, Harold Combs, Jr.; and sister, Catherine Combs.
