David Theordore Stopple

1955 - 2025

Walworth, WI - David Theodore Stopple, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 15, 2025, in Punta Gorda, Florida.

David was born on October 9, 1955, to Tena and Orville Stopple. He lived a full and passionate life, rooted in family, hard work, and simple joys. David graduated from Blackhawk Technical College. For many years, David owned and operated Town N Country TV in Harvard, Illinois, where he built strong connections in the community. Later, he enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside his brother at Madison Property Management.

He is survived by his children, Jenny Salvo (Mike Salvo) and Joshua Stopple (Darcy Pinasco); his brother, Jim Stopple; his sister, Mary Jordan; many nieces and nephews, along with his beloved fur grandbabies.

David spent much of his life on the family farm in Walworth, which he cherished deeply, before moving to Florida to enjoy the warmth and sunshine over the past five years. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: watching the alligators in the pond near his home, relaxing by the pool, soaking in the sun, boating, fishing, and sharing time with friends and family.

He was especially proud of his Dodge Challenger, loved camping adventures, and never passed up the tradition of a Wisconsin supper club. David also had a passion for NASA and the wonders of space exploration.

David will be remembered for his kind spirit, love of family, and his ability to find happiness in both hard work and life's everyday moments.

Visitation will be held at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Walworth Cemetery.
