Dennis Kingslien Obituary
Dennis was born in Viroqua, WI on September 6, 1948, the son of Darlene (Peterson) and Kenneth Kingslien Sr. His early life was spent in Chicago, IL, Florida, Westby, WI and Mauston, WI where he met his beloved wife, Antoinette Nastali. They were married on March 16, 1968, in Mauston, WI.
Dennis worked at Chrysler Corporation in Belvidere, IL for 30 years until his retirement in 1997. He then was a delivery driver for Milton Avenue Pharmacy and Schnucks in Janesville, WI.
Dennis was a very humorous and quick-witted man. He always had a folder full of jokes and entertained everyone to the fullest. He loved to have a beer with his 4 neighbor friends, Larry, Kermit, Ron and Irv, which was known as "the townhall meeting." He also spent time with his good Chrysler friends Ray, Lloyd and Butch. He was a member of UAW Local 1268.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Annie as he so lovingly called her; 3 children: Dennis Jr. (Julie), Denise (Mark) and Danielle (Mike) Courtney; 6 grandchildren who he loved dearly; Daniel (Meredith), Sam (Melanie), Brooklynn (Johnny), Alex, Lukas (Jennifer) and Reece; great granddaughter on the way; 3 sisters-in-law: Joan (Pete) Ziebell, Sharon (Gary) Stammen and Marian LaFortune; 3 brothers-in-law: James Nastali, Butch Nastali and John (Robin) Nastali; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy; 3 brothers: Stephen, Kenneth and Rodney; and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2025. As Dennis wished, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michael J. Fox The Parkinson's Foundation.
