Erwin Fredrick Ziebell

Edgerton, WI - Erwin Fredrick Ziebell, age 99, of Edgerton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, at the Edgerton Care Center. He was born in Loyal, WI, on March 3, 1926, the son of the late Frederick and Freida (Kurth) Ziebell. Erwin married Elaine M. Bartz on March 4,1950, at St. John Lutheran Church, Edgerton. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2017. Erwin had worked for many places including in construction building homes, at a Cheese Factory, driving semi, and working at Highway and Dorsey Trailer Companies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding his motorcycle and restoring cars.

Survivors include his 3 children: Janet Ziebell, Linda Ziebell, and Steven Ziebell; 2 grandchildren, Adam Ziebell and Michael (Sara) Ziebell; great grandchildren: Alithea, Samuel, and Madeline Ziebell, and Nicholas (Kennedy) Blaesius; great great grandchild Norah Blaesius; a special sister-in-law, Barb (Dale) Bieck whom he and Elaine raised like a daughter; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Ron Webb; and 2 sisters, Irene Capetz and Lois Stello.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, Edgerton. Pastor Dave Nelsestuen will preside and burial will follow in Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH.
