Imogene Ehle

Beloit, WI - Imogene I. Ehle, 103, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Riverside Terrace. She was born on April 14, 1922 in Crawford County, WI, the oldest of 13 children born to Edward and Molly (Briggs) Heisz. Imogene attended Gays Mills Elementary School. She married Atley Copus on August 24, 1940 in Waukon, IA. Imogene later married Vernon "Buck" Parker on October 20, 1948 in Rockton, IL. He predeceased her October 1999. She then married Jack Ehle on June 16, 1979 in Rockton, IL. Imogene was formerly employed by Fairbanks-Morse Yates American Machine Co., Freemans Shoes, and Sears until her retirement in 1979. She was a former member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Beloit Wisconsin and more recently attended People's Church in Beloit Wisconsin. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jack Ehle; daughter, Judi Van Cleave of Portland, OR; son, George (Penny) Parker of Rockford, IL; step sons, Mark (Mary Jo) Ehle of Beloit, WI, Mitchell (Mary Jo) Ehle of Lady Smith, WI, Jeffery (Colleen) Ehle of Beloit, WI, Joel (Gail) Ehle, Jay Ehle, and Chris (Lauria) Ehle all of Beloit, WI; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence (Peck) Heisz; sisters-in-law, Harriett Heisz, Ellen Heisz and Geraldine Heisz. Imogene was predeceased by her parents; 8 brothers Lincoln (Gene), Jessie (Jack), Francis (Dutch), Charles (Chuck), Burnard, Donald (Donny), Emmette, Clarence, and 3 sisters Sarah (Steines), Ruth (Vermillion), and Margie (Knoble). A Funeral Service for Imogene will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
