Jimmy Lamphear Obituary

Beloit, WI - Jimmy Lamphear Sr., 72, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born June 28, 1953 in Portage, WI, the son of Thornton and Doris (Dieckow) Lamphear. Jimmy attended school in Poynette, WI. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines serving from 1969 until 1973. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Survivors include his children, Jimmy (Rae) Lamphear Jr. and Amanda Bach; grandchildren, Macie Lamphear, Matie Lamphear and Zoey Bach; sisters, Mae (Mark) Pospeschil, Cynthia Redenius and Delores Lisa Lamphear; sister-in-law, Deborah Lamphear; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Eddie Lamphear and sister, Dixie Kuhle. The family would like to thank nurses Betsy and Jill at the VA Madison Hospital for all their care given to Jimmy over the years. A Visitation of Remembrance will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Military Honors will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post #2306 following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.daleymurphywisch.com
