Jimmy Howard "Animal" Soellner

1947 - 2025

Jimmy Howard "Animal" Soellner Pahrump, NV - JANESVILLE - It is with a very sad and heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jimmy Howard Soellner on January 5th, 2025. Born in Jefferson, WI on September 2nd 1947, he graduated from Jefferson High School and started his first job at Stoppenbach Meat Plant until he joined the United States Army. He served in the Army from 1966-1968 when he was discharged after receiving the purple heart for his service in Vietnam. He married Pamela Kay Pederson in July 1967, and they welcomed their first child, son Timothy James, in 1968. Two years later, they welcomed their second child, daughter Stacie Renee. Following his service in the military, Jim worked at General Motors in Janesville, WI until his retirement. In 1993, Jim married Judy Ott of Janesville and in his later years after retiring from General Motors enjoyed spending time with Family, friends, and his faithful dog, Jack, in Pahrump, NV.

Jim is survived by his sister Cindy (Tim) Kittleson and brother Steven Soellner of Manitowoc, WI, his first wife Pamela (Ron) Huber of Janesville, daughter Stacie (Ryan) Lawrenz of Janesville, granddaughter Jamie (Jeff) Keehn, Marcus (Francesca) Phiffer and expectant great-grandchild, and Nicholas Lawrenz.

Jim is also survived by his stepchildren with Judy: Bruce Ott of Janesville, Terry (Sandra) Ott of Pardeeville and Jayme (Angela) Ott of Janesville, and grandchildren Haley, Jacob, and Sara Ott, Amber Lueck, Alyssa, Alex, Andrew, Elizabeth, Emma Hermanson and other family.

Jim was proceeded in death by his parents Howard and Marjorie, son Timothy, wife Judy and step grandson Trenton Ott.

A private service will be held at Milton Lawns Memorial Park in Janesville, WI at a later date.
