Linda Puhl Obituary

Potosi, WI - POTOSI - Linda K. Puhl, age 73, of Potosi, formerly of Elkhorn, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Grant Regional Health Center. She was born on June 2, 1951, in Elkhorn, the daughter of Harry and Alta (Williams) Burpee. Linda graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1969. Following graduation, she relocated to Rock County where she resided until 2007 when she moved to Grant County. Linda enjoyed reading, watching movies, puzzles, baking, crossword puzzles, word searches, knitting and cross stitching. She also enjoyed country music, especially Elvis, and watching WWE wrestling. Linda was a deeply private person, someone who found comfort and peace in her own company. Her quiet nature was a reflection of her strength, and she will be remembered for the gentle way she touched the lives of those closest to her, even in her own reserved way.

Survivors include her children: Ben (Wendy) Puhl, Plymouth; Sheila (Jason) Horner, Potosi; Jason Morgan, Evansville; Courtny Long, Janesville; eight grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Mary) Burpee, Elkhorn; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Alice "Peg" Young.

A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi is assisting the family.
