Marilyn Anderson

1932 - 2024

Walworth, WI - Marilyn Anderson, age 92, of Big Foot, passed away peacefully surrounded by family June 17, 2024. Marilyn was born April 8 1932 the daughter of Margaret and Merle Robinson of Fontana WI. Marilyn graduated from Walworth High School, Class of 1949. Marilyn married Arthur Anderson on September 21, 1952.

Marilyn and Art operated a dairy farm for many years on State Line Road. Marilyn served on the Big Foot Cemetery Board, Stateline Grange and was a long-time member of the Women of the Moose.

Marilyn was a deer hunter for 72 years with many of those years on their farm in Augusta and a lifetime Green Bay Packer fan. Marilyn's favorite activity was being with friends. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Walworth.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Jim (Brooke) and Mary (Michael) and grandchildren: Niklas (Kaitlyn), Hans, Stephen (Angel), Andrew, Amanda (Alexander), Daniel and Linda. She is further survived by her great-grandsons Nolan, Moses, Arthur and Logan and by a much awaited, soon to be born great granddaughter. Marilyn is also survived by her brother, David, and was predeceased by her husband Art, her infant son John and brothers Arthur and Robert.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 2PM to 6PM at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 111 Freemont Street, Walworth, WI 53184. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at the Big Foot Cemetery on Highway 14. A lunch reception will follow then at The Harvard Moose Lodge, 22500 IL-173, Harvard, IL 60033.
