Nancy Dampier Obituary

Janesville, WI - Nancy L. Dampier, 83, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at MercyHealth Hospital and Trauma Center. She was born March 25, 1942, in Janesville to the late Victor W. and Gladys E. (Keniston) Lawarance. On June 25, 1960, she married Eugene 'Geno' Dampier, and he would precede her in death on November 29, 2021.

Nancy was a CNA and worked at many places including Cozy Lil Acres. She enjoyed playing games especially Yahtzee and puzzles; playing the accordion and collecting frogs. Most of all she loved her time with her family.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Tina (John Sr) Pelton; grandsons: John (Carmen) Pelton Jr, and Brandon Pelton; great grandchildren: Tiana, Skyler, Hailey, Emma, Morgan, Tristyn, Braydon, and Ella; sisters: Linda Sallee, Vickie Johnson, and Wendy (Elmer) Southwick; nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; husband Geno; grandson Steven Pelton; sister Sandra Lawarance.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the APFEL WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 21 S. Austin Rd, Janesville, from 11:00 AM to time of service. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.apfelwolfe.com
